Yahoo! What a wonderful event yesterday at the Skagit History Museum! Valley Voices poets Jim Bertolino, Kathleen Bisagne, Michael Daley, Sam Green, Jean Hallingstad, Georgia Johnson, Nancy Pagh and Thelma Palmer filled the room with magic. It was standing room only. Poetry is a living language and whoever says that no one cares about it's continued life is CRAZY!!!
Happy December! If there was ever weather that inspires poetry, these past cold clear days have been them! Lorraine Ferra is working in the Mount Vernon schools this week making that poetry magic that she can make so well and Sam Green and Tim McNulty will be working with kids next week. Sam in Bellingham and Tim in Burlington-Edison. Lucky kids!
